Goldfish Street in Hong Kong

In Mongkok, there is a Gold Fish Street where you can find a lot of shops that sells aquariums, gold fish, tropical fish and all kind of other fish. You see that most of the shops are selling fish using a plastic bag and hanging it outside the shop.

The Goldfish street is located between Tung Choi Street and Bute Street (Prince Edward MTR exit B2).

This street is great for goldfish and pets, but some of the animal cruelty that goes on there is very disheartening. I asked my sister about it, her response was "They are stock, they are treated as such, the animal welfare society can't do anything about it.". It is such a shame because it'd be such a cool place if not for that....

I live in hong kong, and i like the goldfish street a lot and somtimes buy fish there. however, during the next week they are all dead. I think the spca should do something about the fish as there place to live is not up to standard.
